The Apple iPhone 16 event is within 14 days and in particular, the event is expected to provide further insight into the availability of iOS 18 and Apple Intelligence in the public domain, along with the introduction of the iPhone 16 by Apple.

Cut out of Monday’s event invitation showing the Apple logo with different colors and inscription below. ‘It’s Glow Time’. The design is reminiscent of the design used for the company’s June Worldwide Developers Conference keynote, during which it introduced the world to Apple Intelligence, its AI offering. Apple is expected to continue that debate for its iPhone maker this fall, in addition to revealing new hardware.

How to Stream Apple’s ‘It’s Glow Time’ Event

Apple’s Fall Keynote will begin on September 9 at 10 AM PDT and end at 1 PM EDT, 6 PM BST, and 3 AM AEST. You can watch it live on Apple’s site or YouTube. You can also watch from the Apple TV app.

Anticipate iPhones with Advanced AI Features — and Possibly Improved Cameras

Apple spent much of its June WWDC keynote discussing Apple Intelligence, a package of AI features that could include features such as an improved Siri, AI writing tools, and connections to ChatGPT. Apple Intelligence will come to the iPhone 15 Pro models and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the iPhone 16 series ship with these new AI features by default.

Along with this expected announcement is the official release of the much-awaited iOS 18 which was also launched by Apple in June. Some of the new features that come with this operating system include home and lock screens that are now customizable, a new look for the Control Center, and new Rich Communication Services or RCS aimed at texting friends who use Android phones.

Although Apple is expected to introduce new devices at its event on September 9, the text of the invitation suggests that software – and AI in particular – could be the main theme of the entire keynote. Shades of gray on the Apple logo and “Glow Time” branding may be a nod to the Siri update released with iOS 18 that makes your device’s border glow when activated.

However, the company is also expected to highlight iPhone hardware improvements, mainly in the cameras. There are reports that the iPhone 16 models will feature a wider image sensor and a fresh physical camera key that will be placed next to the Action key released on the previous iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. It will respond to swipe inputs, so you can swipe right or left to zoom.

Another tipster Pro analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes that the standard iPhone 16 Pro will have a 5x optical zoom lens and you won’t need to buy the iPhone 16 Pro Max again to get this feature. Still, another well-known analyst Jeff Pu wrote that the camera could dramatically increase from 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels for ultra-wide on both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.

For the base models of the iPhones, the 16 and 16 Plus, it is predicted that the cameras can be placed vertically and not horizontally. This will make it much easier for devices to shoot spatial video as it will use the information from both cameras as 3D. Native videos appear as normal 2D videos when viewed on an iPhone but are intended to be viewed on the firm’s Vision Pro headset, which has a 3D view.

Some iPhone models may also have thinner bezels and therefore larger screens – it’s not yet clear which ones. In terms of processors, all iPhone 16 models may include the next-generation Apple chipset labeled A18, while the Pro models may come with the A18 Bionic Pro, and the non-Pro models may include the standard A18.

Apple Watch Series 10 — or Will It Be Called X?

Let me remind you that it took almost seven years, and not everyone fully expected that Apple would have decided to name the iPhone X as it did the iPhone 9 as a model name. What was left to do as it prepares to celebrate 10 years? The creation of the iPhone. Well, now the company will continue the tradition of naming the tenth generation of its watch series possibly Apple Watch 10 or X (let it be X for the sake of this article).

The watch can be made slimmer and larger, with options ranging from 41mm to 45mm and the current 45mm to 49mm. The Apple Watch X may also come with improved health features: blood pressure tracking and a system for sleep apnea that assesses a person’s sleeping and breathing patterns. There may also be a new way of how the bands are attached to the magnetic part of the watch face.

New AirPods: Why Two Are Better Than One

Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman says Apple could announce two new AirPods models during this fall’s event. Both will get new aesthetics with a smaller stem, and USB-C charging. An upgraded version could come with active noise cancellation as Apple’s access to this feature doesn’t necessarily force one to buy AirPods Pro.

Apple fans are also anticipating a new version of the AirPods Max, which was first launched a little over three years ago. However, of the aforementioned improvements is uncertain whether or not it will be tested during the company’s fall event. If we do, it’s possible the over-ear headphones could get basic upgrades like USB-C charging and new colors.

One thing is for sure, by September 9, we will see some of these rumors come true.
